Today was the first day of what I hope to be the best year of my life (so far).
With that said, here are a series of firsts of 2015:
First “Wake Up” Time: 9 AM.
First Movie watched: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (for nostalgia purposes) with my nieces and nephews
First Lunch/Meal of the day: Pizza Hut (one of which had my favorite combinations – pepperoni & pineapple)

First Boardgame: MONOPOLY.

First Car Wash of the Year. Pictured: Not Me.

First Adventure of the Year: Mountain High!

First Selfie of 2015:

First Dinner of 2015 & Last Meal in Garden Grove: PHO

With that said, this is the first of 365 posts in 2015 dedicated to the “Music Project”, a yearlong project that encompasses tying the events of one’s day to a song that fits the mood or overall atmosphere of everything that happens. It’ll get progressively harder as the year continues, but I hope to try to surround myself with a majority of positive experiences, which should directly result in HAPPY SONGS. This is the New Year, and therefore it is a chance for new beginnings. A Great Big World presents this hopefulness in the song provided below, which will be the title of today’s blog post.
Another year you made a promise
Another chance to turn it all around
And do not save this for tomorrow
Embrace the past and you can live for now….
