Well, it hasn’t been that long, but I just feel sooooooooo damn homesick. I’m currently at sunshine market using their computers (something I will probably do next week when I ship my laptop back to HP to get fixed – the stupid screen stopped working).

I want to go home! I won’t even get a chance to… the most likely possibility for me to go home is August 7th, in which time I will have to go to my brother’s wedding on August 8th.. something which I don’t know if I really want to. The wedding’s in a Christian Church, cause the wife that needs a green card is Christian. I’ve always been particularly tolerant of other religions from my own (Agnosticism), but I don’t know how my sisters would react going to a church service of a religion they’ve never been a part of their entire life.

In the mean time, work is good, and fun, and easy. I can go on facebook and aim at any chance/opportunity I get at work. I still need to make contact with my other job though. I also went to the movies this week, watching Year 1, which was quite a fun movie. It was really ridiculous in a sense, but I kind of liked how stupid it was. I also understood the history of it taking a church history – Abel & Cain, high priest, Pagans, Hebrews, etc. I also need to stop eating at price center, for it’s certainly burning a hole through my wallet. I went to Ralph’s yesterday with two of my friends (Valerie & Robert), the same people I went to the movies with. There, I bought Cereal – bread for peanut butter & jelly, chips, soup, and home pockets. That hopefully will last me from two – three weeks.

As far as TV goes, I’ve been watching random shows – South Park, Family Guy, the Colbert Report, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, etc. I’ve also been tuning into the news lately, the Iranian Revolts being quite interesting. If the people play their cards correctly, this might just turn into another American Revolution. If not, it must cause chaos and turmoil and be reminiscent of the failures of the French Revolution. Only time & history can tell, which makes me really hope President Obama intervenes to help the side of the Iranian people pushing for free speech and freedom in a facebook & twitter universe. Big Brother returns July 16th on the other hand, which means the houseguests get revealed either next week or the week following. I’m looing forward to that – it’s always been a summertime obsession for me, and it’ll give me something to do in San Diego at night (I usually work mornings), except for today which is my day off, and tomorrow where I work from 5 – 9.
