My Spring Break!

As promised, I will now give you all an update on what has transpired over the course of my spring break.
First and foremost, I went home on Saturday with Howard, after a long night of barely 5 hours of sleep. As soon as I got home I tried to look for the PAW shirt my mom lost while doing my laundry, but it was nowhere to be found :(. I was mentally frustrated and sad at that immediate point! But then I decided I was more hungry than anything else, so I just decided to go to Yogi’s with Earl and his friend Andrew (who likes taking pictures of girls). We then decide to chill at his house for a couple hours and that was fun at all…. I got a sample of Forza 2 and BOY, was it hard! We wanted to go watch the dollar picture show at main place mall (Sherlock Holmes), but we came about 10 minutes late, so we were like, screw it, and just left. After that fail, we went home.
SUNDAY hits. Earle is bored. So am I. We decide to alleviate our boredom the only way we know how. How do you cure boredom? Go to wal-mart! That’s how. That was fun, but debatable at the same time. Brandon later joined us to return some wireless crap he didn’t need. Later, we went to Sushi with AMY TRAN. That was okay too, but then I went to Amy’s house and then disappointment began again. I was supposed to help her with math. Upon looking at the math book, I realized how much I HATED IT. IT WAS CONICS. AND IT WAS PARABOLAS. I was able to get some crap out of it by looking at the examples, but really had no idea what I was doing. X squared goes to the side and Y squared goes up and down? Um, okay. After doing that, I played bing a couple of hours and went home subsequently (after NOT watching gossip girl). I also watched the healthcare debate live at that point and was really upset by the way it turned out.

Monday! My free XBOX360 came, with no games. So I borrowed Earle’s Sims and played it for a couple hours, before realizing I was hungry. I went to Chili’s and got ribs with Earles & Brandon. Earle made me take a picture with a complete stranger waitress, but she was cute! Kind of. Semi-whatever. Brandon let me test drive on the back of his bike, and that was fun, while scary at the same time. I was bored, and went home, where I watched 24. OMG @ DANA WALSH.
My picture with a waitress. AWKWARD

TUESDAY. I woke up, and went straight to Disneyland with Tim & Theresa. It was quite fun. We went on various rides including the Abraham Lincoln thingie, Innovations, Autotopia, Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones, the Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain. Apparently there WAS an XBOX in Innovations, surprisingly enough… but I really wonder who would actually go to Disneyland to play rock band. Sigh. It was fun, but tiring. Amusement parks really know how to get you desperate enough to the point where you spend a crapload of your money there!

WEDNESDAY. I was bored in the morning so I completed my FAFSA. Then I played my XBOX360 to death (two games came – kameo:elements of power as well as forza 2). After realizing my fail efforts at being a gamer, I decided to go play pool with Earle, Brandon, and Jose. I lost all three games against them all (the third being me against all three of them). Then we went to hot pot city with brandon, amy, jose, and earle…. following immediately with american idol and a midnight discussion with earle & melissa.
Pool; I lost 3 times 🙁
And this was a random occurrence at Stater’s Brothers…
THURSDAY. In the morning I woke up and had pizza with Annie and NAM and family duh…. and then went to the Home Deport and Wal-mart with Earle & Andrew. I SAW BRADLEY ROBINSON AT THE HOME-Deport… It was fun seeing him yet again. Things did not go as planned. But were still fun. We were supposed to go to Lucille’s and Bowling… but instead we went to Lucille’s, pool, and tastea. We went to Lucille’s with Tiana, Brandon, Earle, Stephanie, Andrew, Howard, & Thiep until Stephanie & tiana left and we went to pool and tastea (but I didn’t personally buy anything to drink). Dinner was fun, but very expensive. They told us we had to wait for an hour and 15 minutes, in which we played bullshit (the card game)….. but the wait was more-or-less 15-20 minutes of actual waiting. In essence, I like ribs but I really think I preferred Phil’s cause you don’t to have to tip! YUP. Oh apparently, it was also my birthday (cause of Stephanie) that night cause I got free ice cream.

FRIDAY. In the morning, George, Jose, and Earle came over and we just chilled for most parts of the day. After George left for work, and Jose left for…. me & Earle went to get crepes. Oh my God. Because it was buy one get one free at Genkei living, we had to go to crepe corner instead, because of a massive line that existed. But we met a new friend, Thao Dau, subsequently. Failure soon came with the Rancho’s Variety Show hosted by CSF attended by Thiep, Earle, and I. Now, not to bag on high school students and all… but seriously, the first thing you need to do before you make a talent show or something is to make sure the AUDIO is clear and understandable to the audience. Sigh, it was somewhat disappointing, but I enjoyed watching Mally sing!. Not to mention we bumped into a few former friends in the form of: Nina Ha (whom me & Thiep bought our tickets from), Earle’s Cousin Dinah, her best friend Jessica, Tina, Jennifer Huynh, Jennifer Quach, Teresa, Ngan & Danny, Tuan & Kimberly, and Mally Vu! Not to mention I totally bagged on Ms. Lockhart asking her how the clippers were doing, to which she hit me and was like “STOP! You know!”. Apparently they sucked, and I did not know because they suck every year, dammit! Oh well, at least we got to see some former friends :). The night ended up being redeemed as we went to Starbucks later, and getting Dominoe’s as well (Thiep’s friend gave us a discount); Jose & George joined up… and later did Earle’s brother Brandon to which we went karaoking for 2 hours (until Tony joined us). We sang such songs as “I gotta Feeling”, “Bad Romance”, “Don’t Stop Believing”, “Dreaming of you”, “Party in the USA”, and “Somewhere only we know”. The night ended strong, and I got some much needed sleep.

Genkei Living = fail .
ZOMG, It’s MALLY 😀
Yum… Coffee & Pizza…
Karaoke Group. Sausage Fest, whee.

SATURDAY. Last real day of break. Not much happened in the day time except a couple of naps, a failure of a movie called “Elizabethtown” that bored me to death… But the night again redeemed the day as we went to Regals to watch a movie. We decided soon afterwards to go to the block instead. In attendance was Jose, his sister, Earle, Tiana, Thiep, John Nguyen, and surprise surprise… BRIAN NGUYEN. We went to Kyotori, something we seem to do everytime Brian comes… and I got my chicken teriyaki bowl yet again. YUM :D. We headed to the block, where we would subsequently watch “How to tame your dragon” in 3D. I couldn’t believe it was actually $15.50. WTF IS UP WITH THAT PRICE?! Must be the economy. Yah, it was fun. THe movie in itself was cute, and if it taught me anything about chasing girls it’s that… having a dragon = good; having a dragon = having a car; having a car = getting girl; And the way it must feel to ride a dragon must be the same way to ride a motorcycle, scary as heck! The night ended, we took a group picture, and all went home. Bittersweet ending.

MOVIES!

Sunday. I left at 10:30 AM and came back to SD at about roughly 12:30. It was somewhat bittersweet…. BREAK was way too short :(. When I went back I unpacked everything and was ready bored for a while. I set up my free xbox360 and all. Katie came over and me, katie, and howard played risk for a couple hours until Howard killed me off. And then Lauren came over and we talked for a couple hours… anddd… Then we had dinner, John Torres came over…. Tyler came over… and we discussed various things from healthcare to politics to mexicans to bsu to AS elections (Vote john condello!), and other stuff including race. I am NOT excited for class tomorrow though :(.

As for the future, I will be providing blogs on an inconsistent basis from time to time whenever it is considered important. Also, I will provide MONTHLY blogs from now on for you all to see. :D. First day of class tomorrow as well as work. And 24! My break in essence was short, fun, but ending.
