Yesterday was my second SunGod. I must say, I preferred it quite to my previous.
Although Augustana > Relient K in my personal opinion, the forces of B.O.B. (who surpassed my expectations) and Michelle Branch was able to overcome Sara Barielles and indefinitely win me over. I, again as the previous year, didn’t care much for the last act of the night. Drake & N.E.R.D. Are not very good in my personal opinion….
Wristbands were relatively easier to obtain than last year. It only took about 5 minutes and I went after my communications class on Thursday.
Here’s an outline of my day at SunGod:
1) Woke up in the morning. Breakfast at 416’s place. Hung out at my apartment.
2) Went to see BOB & Michelle Branch <24. BOB surpassed my expectations and Michelle Branch met all my expectations. She’s adorable.! Didn’t appreciate Hayley’s william recording voice and non-surprise appearance though.
3) Some comedian, some Indian accent comedian, and then the guy from community!
4) Relient K. They were good, they just chose a bad set of songs to play. Only 3 were real hits. Most were from their new album (which I mostly deleted upon listening to, upon disgust) jk. haha.
Then I went to see Iron Man 2, which was excellent ! Muahaha. I want to watch the first one now, haha. Even though I already know what happens….
