THIS FEELS LIKE A PERMANENT DECEMBER,
SO MUCH COLDER THAN I CAN REMEMBER.
Today was a much better day than yesterday. In fact, considering how great this month started out to be (December 1st), it might be shaping up to be the best month of 2010.
Let’s start with the events of November 30th. In contrast to yesterday, today was a blessing! With my gingerbread house breaking in public along with finding out *spoilers* (that Emma was now engaged to John Stamos and Rachel & Finn Broke up), I thought it would be a foreshadowing of things to come.
Fortunately for me, today was. excellent!. At work today I got to view a presentation by Doug Harvey on wonderful nature trails/hikes by the Canadian Rockies, and in the process got free Pizza. From a local pizzeria (my boss is anti-corporatism so he refuses to buy pizza from such locales as Dominoe’s or Pizza Hut, etc.). After that I went to COCU141C class, which had a wonderful presentation on invisible disabilities presented on library walk. Eventually it led all the way up to the Invisible Center, otherwise more formally known as the Office for Students with Disabilities. Then, our wonderful Professor Cartwright took us to Round Table for more free pizza. It was a shame I was not even that hungry. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL DAY. Best. Class. Ever. In a class like COCU141C, instead of learning through taking tests (midterms/finals), we learn through projects and presentations. It truly is a unique way of learning, and I am glad I ended up taking the class. 🙂
