Today, I started out my day by attending the Warren Leadership Conference with Amul, Kunal, Alex, Matt Diamond, Lauren Coleman, Katie, Jon Kaslow, Megan Susoy, and others. Along the way I bumped into countless people including Jonathan Gomez and Warren College Student Council President Alyssa Wing! The day was relatively fun, with the Keynote speaker Barbie Tootie speaking to us about how to become better leaders. She picked on me about 4 times in the day, because when she told me she was from Ohio, I said that Glee takes place there…. subsequently she would mention me throughout her overall presentation, and awarded me a teddy bear that sings subsequently for putting me through such a public ordeal. I was glad I got all the attention though. The Icebreaker was also super fun, but I don’t know if it was worth however much they paid for it…. The breakout sessions weren’t that helpful – most of the information was pretty obvious, but I still got some great insight into the closing, and overall on how to make my involvement as a student leader improve slowly over time. In the end I got a teddy bear, and a padfalio, both provided in my picture of the day.
Later, I went to the Women’s Basketball Game against Cal Poly Pomona with Amul, Matt, Jake, & Alex. [We lost]. Then Dinner with Jake, Alex, & Lauren at Ocean View Terrace (which is overrated). Then the Men’s Basketball Game with Matt, Alex, Amul, and Lauren [We lost, although we were close]. I also got a picture with King Triton! YAY! I must say though that during both games there was a girl in front of us and a guy in back of us yelling obnoxious comments to the coach.
By the end of the night me, Amul, and Lauren we go to Earl’s, play scrabble, with Alex coming in between to both proctor’s Lauren’s game after she decided to leave and play us another round. Unfortunately, Amul won both.
Finally, on a random sidenote – I finally finished watching the season premiere of American Idol, and let me just say the dynamic between the three judges is amazing. Hopefully this season is a good one, and isn’t horrible like season 3 or 9. Watch below!

You damn the impediments, and you insist upon the insurrections, and then you emit Peter Finch’s gutteral, resonant, “So,” and you implore, you will the viewer to go to the window, open it, stick out his head and yell… well, you know the rest.” Good. On January 22nd, 1973, The legalization of abortion within the first three months of pregnancy was allowed as of this day. This decision was based on a ruling by the Supreme Court upon adjournment of the Roe Vs. Wade Case that women had a constitutional right to obtain an abortion. FAIL on America’s part. :[. And after that a billion babies get killed (overestimation). |
P.S.: I could tell you of a man not so tall, who said life’s a circus and so we are small. Tell you of a girl that I saw, I froze in the moment and she changed it all.
