Day 28: Password fail, Scrabble win!

Version 1.0.0

January 28th 2011

Today was fun. After waking up and working on my “Lessons Learned from the Tortoise and the Hare” ICRA Presentation, I did some P90x, skipping the stretching parts to conserve time…. which might have a negative effect in the long run on my body. Shrug. I then went to work to print out notes for which I will study on Sunday for my two upcoming midterms next week.

Later, I had lunch with Alexis at Foodworx, but I think I must have offended her to have her storm off on me. I think that makes me the winner of the argument though. After my next class, I proceeded to the ICRA office for my weekly 3-5 Friday Office Hours. I made a sufficient use of the time hanging out with Geetha while simultaneously cleaning up the office. I was such a good boy I stayed half an hour after talking to Geetha; unfortunately, the computer guy stood me up, and unfortunately pt.2 I accidentally locked the door of one of the rooms, but I’m sure Windi (the ICRA advisor) knows how to open it…. or so I hope…..

I went to Pines with Geetha after, then back to Sixth college for her to approve, hang, and drop off posters. We went back to my place for me to get a jacket, cause I was being both cold and lame…. Bee-John called and convinced me mostly to go to Muir’s Board Game Night. I think me & Geetha were two of the only people there who was not in the Muir Residential Council. Good for us, I guess! We played some Taboo!, followed by a game of Password, which I totally sucked at. I used “Glee” as a clue to throw-off my enemies, and I’m pretty sure it ended up working. Geetha was a cheater the whole time simultaneously, and ended up winning as a direct result. In choosing my picture of the day I chose a game I ultimately forgot the name of…. however, I must point out the Alex, Matt, Branden, Jake, Megan, William, David, Nick, Rachel, Justin, Chris, Tyler, James, Daniel, Connor, and Sarah in the picture of the day are not my friends…. fortunately for me, my friends look much better than they do there :D. And it’s a shame Geetha wasn’t one of the options. I declare racism. After that, the night shortly ended with me going back to my place.

I picked up a package at SAC, got a drink at Earl’s, and anxiously waited for Tiffany Saw to call me to watch movies. Unfortunately, she never did…. So I ended up spending the rest of the night playing Scrabble (and winning!) with Rosario & Dina, my R.A. That was pretty chill, and made up for my lack of gameplay quality in Password. I also played some Super Mario Brothers World, Donkey Kong, and Mortal Kombat (SNES) with Rosario, and ended the night shortly thereafter, victory & self-esteem safetly intact.
