I did go to Tea N More as my picture suggests today, but I also participated in doing much “More” than suggested. The day started off with me typing up my notes in order to study for my upcoming finals (in two weeks) while listening to my new favorite artist, Mumford & Sons! YAY! I headed to Goodies and ate half a burrito (it was gross) before going to the ERC Television room (located in the bottom of Great Hall in ERC), where I met up with Johan to begin our documentary project for COCU177. We struggled getting the video footage onto the computer, trying our best to avoid using Macs. Eventually we gave in and uploaded the footage to the Mac, until Katie came and we decided to try to put all the footage onto her computer. Me & Johann had a discussion about Ron Paul while trying to wait, but we found out Katie didn’t have Windows Movie Maker or any video editing software on her computer. Thus, we went to Johann’s friend’s place to borrow her computer, and she had Adobe FinalCut for us to upload the file to. We went to Johann’s place and uploaded the footage making a game plan for the documentary as well as watching the Interviews and engaging in discussing Johann’s post-graduation plans. We all checked out Johann’s room, would eat some food at Cafe Ventans (I got a snack) before we ultimately called it a day.
The day later continued with Leandro picking me and Alexis up from Warren, as we, along with Howard all went to Pho T. Cali. It was like a flashback to sophomore year, except Torrie bear wasn’t there. We also got some boba at Tea N More which was located across the street, which was especially better than Tapioca Express on campus. After I was dropped back on campus, I finished the night chatting and doing homework in preparations for my inevitable finals.

Scott Walker and his anti-union plan to balance the budget — a demonstration meant to counter three weeks of large anti-Walker protests in and around the state Capitol. The rally was the culmination of a 10-stop bus tour sponsored by the conservative advocacy group Americans for Prosperity that started Thursday in Kenosha. It took place at the Aliant Energy Center in Madison, which is a couple of miles from the Capitol, where thousands of pro-union demonstrators rallied Saturday and Sunday. On March 6th, 1951, The trial of suspected spies Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were indicted for conspiring to obtain national defense secrets for the Soviets starts in New York. Damn Traitors. You led to years of proliferation and potential nuclear catastrophe. Good thing we had some semi-decent presidents to lead us into the era of the Cold War, (and force us to survive it without resorting to dropping a nuke). Ronald Reagan has saved us all. |
