IT’S COMING, THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED RETURN OF SUNGOD! Two years ago, I was super happy when Sarah Bareilles and Augustana came. Last year, I was happy with Michelle Branch, B.O.B., and Relient K. This year I’m looking forward to Mike Posner, Jimmy Eat World, Wiz Khalifa, and Axis of Awesome! I attained my wristband this morning, due to being a part of Society 60. I knew there were secret perks I didn’t know about. It’s not as pretty as last year’s wristabands though. BOO.
I then went to SRC to work for a bit, inevitably talking to Yu-Ting for a bit as her shift overlapped mine. I headed on over to EHS when done, and then proceeded to the library to get the page numbers for all the quotes I cited for the essay I wrote yesterday. Fun. Geetha met up with me, and we had lunch at Goodies before splitting at the ICRA office. I went back to my place and took an extended, yet AMAZING nap. I woke up just in time for NRHH, and for the first time in weeks I went to a meeting. I gave Tyler the 20 dollars I owed him, and I got a chance to finger paint during the meeting. Fun Fun Fun Fun. Elementary school flashbacks, but no girls chased me this time >:). I had dinner with Alex and Geetha at Panda Express, stumbling into Lauren while there. When I got back to ICRA, I joined Bee-John’s commitee for an exciting look at the set-up and clean-up aspects of the Price is Right event. I also got 4 stencils from the EcoNauts which were amazing! YUM. Alex drove me and Matt back to Warren, as I rested for a bit, before Sandy walked me to Geisel (where I met Geetha) to study. We went back to her place to watch 24 before I ultimately called it a night.

| On May 11th, 1970, The SALT Talks ( Strategic Arms Limitation Talks ) between the US and the Soviet Union continued, despite US involvement in Cambodia . It appears both countries are keen to find a compromise on Strategic Arms Limitation to stop the growth and continued arms race. Oh, Soviet Union, how I laugh at you. |

| Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich made it official Wednesday: He’s running for president. The Georgia Republican announced via Twitter that he is formally seeking the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. Gingrich is widely viewed as the most serious official Republican candidate so far. “I’m announcing my candidacy for president of the United States because I believe we can return America to hope and opportunity,” the former speaker said in a campaign video posted online. UMM, I hope he doesn’t win. |
