A vast plethora of events and activities helped consume my day today. First, I woke up happily knowing that ICRA 1on1’s were cancelled, and then proceeded to work at the SRC in a rather chipper mood. In between my work shift I would go with Kristin and Sylvia to the “Born Beautiful” Student Sustainability Collective Picnic. They offered free vegan bread, with peanut butter and jelly (which I thought wasn’t very good…) I saw Alex there though and made a few buttons for my day. I then proceeded to my room where I finished an essay in simply put, 20 minutes. PROHAXOR SKILLS.
I then went to the Student Leadership & Scholarship Celebration, where I saw a mass exodus of club members from PAW, WTCC, WCSC, WAVE, Res-Life, etc. The two tables I sat at though comprised of mostly my friends from PAW which included: Nick, Katie, Rosario, Amy, Matt, Alex, Jake, V.Ha, Amul, Shirley, Kunal, & Lauren. In the process of a very long presentation, only appetizers and desserts were offered as I was quasi-entertained by the speeches of the night. When all was done, I took some pictures with Sandy, before deciding dinner plans for the night. Phil’s was sadly postponed but Alex, Amy, Matt, Amul, Rosario, & Jake all went with me to In&Out (me proceeding in Alex’s car with Rosario). Afterwards Matt, Amul, and I went with Alex on campus to pick up games, afterwards all driving to the Regents Parking lot and walked to Jake’s place. While there, we played a variety of games including: Cranium (Team Amul/Matt/Jake/Alex > John/Rosario/Amy), Scattergories (I won!), Jake’s cat scared me, and Monopoly Deal (Amul won). Between all these games I would text various players through aim “Secret Alliance”, as well as make lots of racist comments. Good times. After Alex dropped us all back on campus, me and Amul went to Earl’s as I ended the rest of the night on the phone with Geetha.

| On May 20th, 1961, An angry mob consisting of all white’s attacked a busload of “Freedom Riders” ( Freedom Riders were testing the United States Supreme Court decision Boynton v. Virginia, that gave them a legal right to disregard local segregation ordinances regarding interstate transportation facilities. ) in Montgomery, Ala., prompting the federal government to send in United States marshals to restore order. BOO. |

| By now, you’ve probably heard of the religious group that’s predicting the end of the world starts this weekend. Harold Camping and his devoted followers claim a massive earthquake will mark the second coming of Jesus, or so-called Judgment Day on Saturday, May 21, ushering in a five month period of catastrophes before the world comes to a complete end in October. We’ll see…. |
P.S.:

So that’s what you were texting everyone else…well, at least it was secretive instead of your loudly whispered “secret alliance” offer that you always offer everyone (again, though, you did offer it to everyone, which does not seem promising–you should ask one person at a time until someone accepts, although I doubt that would work, either).
