The end is near. By next Wednesday, I will be free of various clubs that I have become accustomed and attached to over the last two years, subsequently ending an important chapter in my life. After going to work at the SRC today, and EHS, I went to Foodworx eating with Geetha before she had to leave for class. After going back to my place in an effort to take an extended nap, I was awakened, and ultimately went to go hang out with my friend Tran. We caught up, going to her apartment first to get her car, and then going to L&L Hawaiian near Regents for dinner (where I snapped a picture). She nicely paid for my Korean short ribs, and they were good, but not particularly that great. We caught up regarding church/religious related business, as well as talked about intrapersonal stuff such as relationships. Good times. She dropped me back in Fireside Lounge where I chilled with Alex, Amul, and Lauren for a bit, awaiting the final ICRA meeting of the year. The meeting was kind of useless, but ultimately okay as I recorded video for my planned ICRA music video. I walked down the hill with Matt and Lauren, went to Earl’s, went back to my place, and then met up with Geetha outside of SAC as we had a decent, lengthy, excellent, delicious conversation. We did so, as I posed with a picture inside a donaton box proudly outside of SAC. We went back to my apartment where I would watch FOX News and MSNBC simultaneously as she read Rage Comics. The night was young but sadly over by that point.

| Tensions between Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) over the renewal of the Patriot Act spilled out onto the Senate floor Wednesday, two days before the measure extending the counterterrorism surveillance law is set to expire. Reid took to the floor Wednesday afternoon to publicly accuse Paul of holding up progress on the reauthorization of the Patriot Act. Reid said the conservative freshman and founding member of the Senate Tea Party Caucus was endangering national security by pressing for an amendment that would prevent certain gun records from being searched under the law.
