Day 165: Orange County Habits

June 14th, 2011

Even after being here for only a couple of days, the habits I have developed in Orange County have remained. Sleeping late, walking up late, showering at night instead of the morning, hanging out with my friend Earle, hanging out with my sisters…. all activities that transpire pretty much every time I come back…

Today, I chilled at home and played on the computer, went to Tommy’s with Earle and had a delicious hamburger. It really wasn’t that great though, because I don’t like Chili in my burger, but it was worth taking a picture of and using as my picture of the day. Afterwards we picked up Thiep heading straight to Ikea and subsequently bought a pillow and new sheets. Unfortunately for me, the bed frame would not fit in the car so I subsequently decided not to buy it. Fail. Earle dropped Thiep off and then me off, as I went back home to eat some donuts. My sister Annie and my other sister Nam went to Target, where they debated whether to get an Itouch or not. Ultimately they settled on doing so, and subsequently got a free 25 dollar Target gift card which they decided not to use. After getting home, I developed a massive headache, and still have it….

This in turn did help to get the leaders of the worlds 2 largest nuclear powers to work together to stop the spread of nuclear proliferation and eventually to agree to dismantle many nuclear weapons . At that time many believed that any nuclear war would end in both countries being destroyed with no winner only losers . Sad….
