October has come and gone. Though it’s technically supposed to be Autumn right now, the weather will make you think otherwise. Here’s a brief update (in obvious picture format):

It’s been a month full of work, school, fun, and Circle K.
Work is pretty much the same, though I have a couple of horror stories that need to be told. One 13 year old was talking and said outright “I plan on losing my virginity on my 18th birthday”, to which I said “you can’t really plan that…..”. Then, I overheard another conversation between two 16 year olds where one went “I’m pregnant” and the other went “Congratulations”, to which I put my hands in my palm in glowing sadness. Other than that, work has been pretty entertaining, me getting to know the high school students much better through mostly conversation, gossip, providing snacks, and playing games (including Just Dance… whoot whoot).
The workload for school is picking up. As I adjust to the semester system I realize the workload gets progressively greater and greater as time goes on. I’ll feel the total effect in December when my projects are all due in all my courses. (EDSC310,320,330,340)
Fun. I’m trying to maintain a healthy balance between hanging out with my high school friends, while adapting to my CSUF college routine. This often creates some conflict, but I have no problem attempting (and possibly succeeding) in balancing it.
And finally, Circle K. I’m so glad I decided after last month to ditch most of the clubs I’ve joined, and in its place devote myself to Circle K. The members are amazing, the events are entertaining (CKI-South), and the club is so organized to the point where I can have no official formal complaints. Plus I love all the members of the Quack Pack (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!). I even attached a picture of Tuffy with Rachel Berry in honor of my devotion to the club.
As for SCTA, I thoroughly enjoyed the conference as mentioned in my previous blog post. I hope Circle K Fall Training Conference, and the upcoming Students are Liberty Conference are just as, if not more entertaining.
In the end, this is my top 10 for the month of October:

Goodbye October. Hello November ! >:)
