I keep getting frustrated towards the end of the day, more-so during Periods 5 and 6, but I should try harder to maintain a calmer composure in front of students. They are very good at testing my patience though, and it will only get harder the closer we get to summer. Gotta Keep Holdin’ On till then.
We lost the soccer game today. It was pretty much a wipeout, 6-1. Team Mexico disappointed, but I’m pretty sure if they had a better coach they probably would have been slightly more prepared. Oh well. All I can do at this point is to keep holding on and to push them to do better.
I had a fun dinner with my history “department” at Lotus of Siam. And by department I mean the other two male teachers that teach US History. Lots of small talk and complaining, the best.
