Rock in Rio, Day 2, with a friendly wristband reminder that I’m 24 (21+), but of course feeling 22.

After a tiring first day, the second day was just as tiring – but we were able to (with the wait of long lines), get on the ferris wheel and get caricatures done. Sadly, there was no time for ziplining. As for the music…
Big Sean was surprisingly better than I thought he would be. Not liking rap music, I particularly liked his new single “One Man Can Change the World”.

John Legend was without a doubt, amazing. I especially liked it when he mentioned the fact that Sam Smith could not be there, and sang “Lay Me Down” in honor of him (hoping he of course gets better through his surgery).

Bruno Mars won the night and closed off with a bang (and not to mention many fireworks).

If there’s anything this weekend taught, it’s that music is a universal language to help people get through tough times. Taylor Swift is that voice for many people around the world. Everything will be alright in the end, no matter what age we are. And we’ll keep dancing, partying, and singing like we’re 22. Videos below:
I don’t know about you
But I’m feeling 22
Everything will be alright
If you keep me next to you
You don’t know about me
But I’ll bet you want to
Everything will be alright
If we just keep dancing like we’re
22, ooh-ooh
22, ooh-ooh
