Being that this will be my few days in Las Vegas, songs about saying goodbye will be the theme for this week.
Yesterday, I hung out with my “meetup” pals for the last time. I am grateful to have met such a wonderful group of ladies in my stay here in Las Vegas.
Michelle & Fio – whom I met through the Boulder City Parade (which sadly didn’t give out enough candy or Ariana Grande), and whom I shared delicious Pho and terrible breakup stories with.
Audrey – who I met through Fio at Italian food (Nora;s), a pharmacist with a big heart and an even bigger salary.
Mileth – whom I also met through Fio at the Color Run, whose love of San Diego will probably ensure we will meet together in the future.
I’m fairly positive that people come into your life for a reason – and being that the first few months of Las Vegas were pretty rough for me, I’m glad I had them as a brief support system. It’ll be a long day without seeing them, but I’m sure I will I’ll catch them up when I see them again (not if).
As for my students, I will celebrate the year off right tomorrow with a party for my top 27 students. I went ahead and bought all the snacks and drinks for today.

It’s been a long day without you my friend
And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
We’ve come a long way from where we began
Oh I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again
