Day 160: The Listening

Working with kids requires quite a bit of listening, especially when they are unable to successfully change in the bathroom (after swimming).

Making crystals was relatively fun this morning though.

I am geared up after seeing the Hunger Games trailer, even after a not-so-good first half.

I finished reading Paper Towns, which had a relatively depressing ending that didn’t offer the slightest bit of hope. I guess I’ll eventually get it right in the end, but reading page after page after page, I was turned off by the ending. For all the work the character puts into pursuing Margo, he doesn’t really get anything in the end of the book…

I never really ever know what to say
When all of my emotions get in the way
I’m just trying to get us on the same page

I always get it better right afterward
When all the wrong impressions are said and heard
How come I can never get the right words, I need to convey
Wish I could explain
