Day 185: 4th of July

My life (and day) on 4th of July wasn’t much, but at least it’s mine.

I appreciate the freedoms I have being an American, and I love my country’s ideals (despite some of the horrible things that it has done in the past and continues to do today).

Lots of BBQ. and Lots of fireworks today. We also watched Terminator 2 (which was and still is the best terminator movie).

Firework show in Cypress was magical! I’ll definitely take my parents next year.

She was on fire and wild and American
She burns it out probably just because she can
And if I had a dollar for every thing I should’ve said
I’d prolly still be busted, I would throw it all away again

The lightening bugs light up all across the southern sky
Some guys get it all and they don’t even need to try
I watched you roll away but you didn’t even say goodbye
And now I hate the night, I’m guessin’ that’s the reason why

And this, this is my life
On the 4th of July
It isn’t much, but at least it’s mine
