Lately I’ve been using a variety of different languages to mostly say hello to students, most notably Ni Hao.
I suppose it will be good to pick up some Korean and Spanish as I will be teaching primarily those students in Los Angeles in roughly a month. Hello LA, Goodbye GG. I took three years of Spanish in high school but have mostly forgotten it all due to lack of usage over the years for any particular reason.
In other news, the Amazon “Black Friday sale in July” was massively disappointing. Although, I’m not much of a consumerist these days and I don’t really like buying things (unless of course you count my recent car purchase).
