Day 214: No Boundaries

This week’s music will come from the American Idol (winners) catalogue.

It’s been roughly four hours since I’ve now “lived” in Los Angeles and I’m already homesick. Probably not a good sign, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it! It’s much quieter in this house than I thought it would be. I’m not sure where everyone else is, but that probably means more privacy for me to do whatever I want!

This morning I had a farewell “breakfast” with my sister and brother-in-law at Kaju, followed by some delicious dessert at Paris Baguette.

Later we traveled to Ikea in search of a mattress. We decided after the extensive walk and tour that Amazon will be my best option (since Ikea charges 100 dollars for shipping… minimum).

When I got to Vegas I unpacked and began my new life. My life really has “no boundaries” in the sense that even though I live in LA, Garden Grove is still my home. And I left pieces of myself in different parts of the country – San Diego, (where Phil is sad I’m gone), Iowa (where Ron Paul lost the caucuses), and Las Vegas (where I left some people behind).

Time to follow my dreams. There are no boundaries. Literally, and metaphorically.

Just when you think the road is going nowhere
Just when you almost gave up on your dreams
They take you by the hand and show you that you can
There are no boundaries!
There are no boundaries!
