The shadow of the day stuck me as the day shifted into nighttime over the course of 12 hours.
Technology is shaping up to be a blessing in disguise, as half of the class period really entails in getting the laptops out, typing for 15 minutes, and putting the laptops back. The only real room for instruction is the other 25 minutes of class.

I like to play each week for my homeroom kids episodes of “Adventures from the Book of Virtues” to both teach them moral values and try to instill in them good qualities to carry with them for the rest of their lives. As cheesy as the show is, I can tell they dig it (for the most part).

After a fun day of teaching HISTORY, and TECHNOLOGY, it was time to enjoy the various foods in Arcadia’s monthly 626 Night Market – which included of course (Bulgogi Fries), amazing strawberry lemonade, and my personal favorite of the night – Nutella Macaroon Ice Cream. NOMZ FOR DAYS. I’m back in Orange County for a long (yet needed) 3-day weekend.

And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in gray
And the sun will set for you
