Tonight was the first of many evening commitments dedicated to none other than Rise Kohyang Middle School.
No other song measures the amount of painstaking preparation that went into making the night a success than Han Zimmer’s Docking Scene from Interstellar.
After a long day of school, two of my best students helped decorate my room – and essentially fix up my word wall.
The night went off without much of a hitch. I told awkward jokes to parents, made some play a mapping game with one another, and explored various aspects of the Google Classroom with them.
After a long evening, I went out for some drinks with co-workers where we had cheers to a successful night!
Here’s hoping the hard work pays off!
