Week 2 of the Wellness Challenge officially ended, and I am yet again trailing behind my boss in steps. I’m still in amazement that I was able to average a total of 40,000 steps for a majority of the second week though.

As seen above, our school is still winning in terms of average number of steps in comparison to other Bright Star Schools. At the same time, I still need to BEAT MY BOSS. SOMEHOW.
How did I get that many steps? By spending a majority of my free time running or walking
1. Running and walking at USC on weeknights EVERY NIGHT.

2. Walking and Running Mile Square Park and Garden Grove Library on the weekends
3. Walking everywhere. To get a haircut. To get boba. It even resulted in some spilled boba on a Saturday night.

4. Playing some Just Dance

5. Walking on the beach.

6. Walking around the mall.

7. And my personal favorite: running and walking on the treadmill while lesson planning.

And yet, it’s still not quite enough to win. I need to reassess my strategy for the next 4 weeks.
