The month of May is a hard month for all teachers, especially with the impending threat of preparing for finals and end of the year shenanigans. In what could be argued as my most challenging month of teaching yet (not really due to the students, but more due to the political climate of the school), I have built a tough resilience against some of the critical challenges to my success and happiness.

May is officially over. The “teaching portion of my job” is done. What is left to do for the remaining 3 weeks is preparation for graduation, student led conferences, end of the year field trips, and of course my one week trip to Hawaii (which I am only semi-excited for). The end.
Summer is coming, which means my last year at Fairmont Summer Programs is fast approaching. So excited to see the kiddies and my fellow staff yet again!
