July has thus been, a satisfying month in terms of balancing the equilibrium of “work” and “play”. As a happy medium in between is of course, Fairmont Summer Programs, which continues to portray endless sources of entertainment.
Concordia’s online program is relatively simple. It’s either that, or I’m starting to get really good at doing work without actually completing any of the readings and still getting full credit. Pokemon Go has soaked up a majority of my free time this month. Instead of hanging out with friends simply eating, we now go hunting for Pokemon. (That makes it better in terms of variety of activities being done at the park, and beach, as well as helps my wallet diminish its reduced value every time I use it).
The RNC and DNC were both this month, presenting themselves two equally different and polarizing choices. My obvious pick was Rand Paul to win the whole thing, but he ultimately failed leaving a bombastic Trump and crooked Hillary to choose from.
Alas, reality is about to hit in August as I return to Rise Kohyang Middle School in a week for two weeks of professional development followed by a long school year. That means my summer officially ends in on week, leaving both work (Rise Kohyang), and school (Concordia) to overtake my experiences. I will find a way to balance my life so it’s not just all work though, and squeeze some time in for more play. The Pokemon Go fad appears to be dying at just the right time, in order for me to set my priorities on how I want to execute the next year.
