Day 1: All Time Low

The clock resets as we enter Phase 2 of Project 26. For the next 26 days I will devote each post to a Song Title, reminiscent and paralleling 2015’s Music Project.

Today was an All Time Low, in terms of my teaching all year. I have never felt so vulnerable as today when I found out one of my students (who I trusted) stole my clicker. Upon confronting her, she gave it back, not until I made sure she felt immense guilt though. We will see if she has remorse on Monday. I felt particularly vulnerable because it gave me a quick flash black to my first year of teaching, when a student stole my flash drive.

My principal made me feel much better and consoled me regarding the whole situation though, so I’m grateful to be where I’m at now.

Anyway, other than that nonsense, the day was mostly good as students started (and finished) their advertising projects of a Chinese invention.

The day ended with me going back to Orange County for some delicious Korean food, followed by some New Year’s Eve (Vietnamese) celebration with family. The real party starts tomorrow with food, the New Year’s festival, and of course MONEY (to be given out, mostly be me). I’m using my tax returns properly this year.

I, (I, I) I’ve been trying to fix my pride
But that shit’s broken, that shit’s broken
Lie (lie, lie), lie, l-lie, I try to hide
But now you know it

That I’m at an all time
Low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low
Low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low
