Even though every day gets progressively more and more tiring as the school year drags on, I seem to somehow maintain my sanity.
In the meantime, I’ll be doing my own thing listening to my own jams and creating my own sense of purpose in the universe.
After work today, I proceeded to a free movie screening in Long Beach.
Even though I signed a non-disclosure agreement promising not to talk about the movie, I will anyway. Flatliners is a remake of a movie that once stared Jack Bauer in 1990, about a group of medical school students who start experimenting with death. It was kind of lame, cheesy, and a bit scary – although they were mostly jump scares. I would definitely not recommend the movie to any of my friends, and probably not even my enemies.
Afterwards, I got to see my friend’s classroom, whose is bigger than mine. Looking at it makes me miss my first year of teaching classroom the most – in Las Vegas. Even though I miss the classroom, I don’t miss the school.
