Day 10: Soccer Sorrows

Home-Cooked meal of the day? Hot Pockets. Perhaps I’m getting lazier, but I’m also running out of microwave meals to include on this blog.

Anyway, today was a rather lengthy day that encompassed three specific elements at work, namely:

  1. Field Day. My group was quieter than usual in pronouncing their cheer, but I think the stage fright probably got to them. Shrug. Oh well.
  2. Scholar’s Assembly was great! Probably my favorite one thus far, and the kids did a much better job hosting it than ever before.
  3. Catch-Up was kind of tiring, but the kids weren’t too bad in English, so it was all good.

After work, we played a student vs. staff soccer game that resulted in a huge victory by the students. My lack of ability in playing reminded me of my experiences as a soccer coach, which was rather tragic from 2 years ago.

Luckily, I will never to experience that ordeal ever again.

After work we grabbed some Korean food at Toe Bang. Yum? I guess.
