Day 9: The Human Condition

The human condition is generally to live life, be happy, be sad, and oftentimes complain. In our line of work, us teachers always have something particular to vent about.

In my human condition, I enjoyed taking students to the park today, even if some of them happened to be randomly harassed by strangers in the process.

In my human condition, it was fun going to the 8th grade luncheon I guess. Having limited emotional attachment to these kids though, I also didn’t really care that much.

In my human condition, I enjoyed taking the Metro back to the same movie theater from yesterday to retrieve my lost wallet. I subsequently threw away my credit cards, uncut and all (since I already cancelled them yesterday.

And finally, in my human condition, it was rather fun eating Japanese food while simultaneously deciding the school we work at is most likely never going to change (for better or for worse). The end.
