Day 22: Ocean Avenue

There’s a place on Ocean Avenue, and I’m sure there’s a street called Ocean Avenue in San Diego.

Instead, we went to Pacific Beach for some delicious brunch and some Mimosa Flights.

Then, as we had even more fun, we went bar hopping to a few places and had some engaging political discourse before I lied down entirely on the shores of the beach rubbing myself with sand. And then we went to Barrel Republic, which was an interesting combination of beer in a Yogurtland “fill your own tap” style format.

Of course, the event of the century was Phil’s BBQ, which was delicious as usual.

This was followed by the long drive home where we encountered several things in the form of tailgating a cop, and of course tailgating a bulldozer Decepticon.
