In Day 2 of Amsterdam, I will now run through (with commentary) all the sights I’ve visited thus far in the city.
- We had breakfast again at our hotel. 4 Stars.
- We went to the Diamant Musuem where I saw (and learned) the 4 C’s of every diamond. Very interesting. Also super expensive. I don’t think I’ll mind not getting married anymore if it means I don’t have to buy a stupid ring. 3 Stars.

- We went on a canal ride that took us around the entire city. It was 10 times more exhilarating and better than paddle boating because there wasn’t any actual work involved. The city is absolutely gorgeous other than the nasty looking river water. 4 Stars.

- We had lunch and some drinks at some random bars. The drinks are super cheap, which is super nice. And I finally learned it is cheaper to pay in Euros than American dollars. 3 Stars.
- We went to the Anne Frank house, which was very sad, yet sobering. It was the secret house in which she hid from the Nazis. I enjoyed it for the most part, and actually hope to fully read Anne Frank’s diary when I get back. In many ways, her diary is similar to my blog, except it being much more dramatic and historical in its telling of events. I hope I never have that to experience something so traumatic, even if it would ultimately give me more views. One of the pictures below is her secret hide-out. 5 Stars.

- We went to the Red Light District, where we saw a mass plethora of prostitutes behind curtains. While I was slightly aroused, I was simultaneously saddened knowing that they had to be subjected to such gazes. I’m not sure I would subject anyone to such lifestyles, but as long as they’re okay with it, I guess I am too. The problem with them is our course, it is hard to see their personality through since windows. Oh well. Anyway, we also went to a coffee shop which was nice, had some Pizza/Pasta for dinner, and then called it a night in Amsterdam. 4 Stars.

Till next time, you will be missed!
