There was rice at breakfast this morning, and that is a delicacy in Europe. Unfortunately the rest of the breakfast was basically average, but it was fine for the most part. 2 stars.
Afterwards, we boarded the coach for a trip to Zermatt which took roughly 3 hours. Switzerland is rather small but it takes forever to get anywhere because of the hills. We took the tram to a city where no cars are allowed – only small taxis and horsies. We went up a steep hill via train. It wasn’t as exciting as yesterday’s ride, but there were many Asians on board heightening my experience, and unfortunately mimicking the hat I was wearing. 3 stars.
The top of the hill was a surreal and gorgeous experience, the Matterhorn mountain being behind us, and reminding me heavily of Disneyland. We had the chance to play on swings, take lots of pictures (including a jump one), play on the trampoline, and ours eyes marveling at our beautiful sight. Still not as good looking as yesterday’s. 4 stars.
We explored the town of Zermatt afterwards where I got several souvenirs, and we tried European Mcdonalds. The other restaurants around town were even more expensive and being desperately we settled for something comfortable. Surprisingly enough it was rather decent despite being severely overpriced. I felt like I was living in the Weimar Republic. 3 stars

After the 3-hour bus ride back, we went to the all American restaurant of Hooters. Severely overpriced and I might end up missing some of these people. Doubt it though. 3 stars.

The lobby of the hotel proved itself a rather comfortable place to rest before the end of the night. Eventually I ended up attempting to hand wash my shorts, leading to a miniature flood forming itself in my hotel bathroom. I’m hoping my clothes will dry before morning, but I doubt they will. 2 stars.
