Lately I’ve been having trouble focusing. Whereas for the last 9 courses of my Master’s Program I was easily able to sit down and finish all the coursework in roughly eight hours, this last class is perpetually annoying. Maybe it’s because I’m over the American educational system, which is mostly a scam, or maybe my procrastination has just started to reel its ugly head. Either way, my attention span in completing my work is dramatically lower than it was before summer started. I buckled down though, went to Westminster Library (a childhood favorite of mine when I was younger), and did most of the coursework. The annoying part about this last class is I can’t do all the work until the professor leaves me feedback. And it appears as if he’s procrastinating himself on that front, so that doesn’t give me the ability to finish everything all at once.

In the late afternoon I went to Target which allowed me to get some school supplies. Then I ate some Ramen with a friend, which wasn’t that delicious to be honest. It was a bit far (Buena Park) for some rather subpar taste. The company was okay though, and the politically charged conversation revolved around race was a bit too much for me, as I relaxed for the rest of the night.
