How do you summarize a year that isn’t quite over yet? With as many vague details as possible.
2017 was another year of being an adult, finalizing my 3rd year of teaching, and starting my 4th year (at the same school, as well). I still feel like a kid, and I hope I never lose that feeling actually being because an adult is not only scary, it’s boring.

In terms of progress, this year I didn’t do much. I did finish my Master’s Program. However, still no wife. No house. No white picket fence. No dog to eat. No kids. No divorce. No kidney stones. None of that fun stuff yet, but hopefully it’ll happen in due time.
I started the year off with some resolutions, hoping to meet new people, through various meetups. I clearly got bored along the way, giving up after 26 days. I also cooked for 26 days, which was good, but then I got lazy as well, and decided to eat out every now and then to give myself a rest. My favorite phase of #project26 thus far was when I paid homage to the 26 most important people in my life (so far).
In the summer, I thoroughly enjoyed traveling to Europe, and wish I could travel the rest of the world with my free time and money.

Now that I’m still an adult, and still 26, I hope when I turn 27, my life will dramatically turn around for the better. I’m hoping to add Science to my credential this year so I can more easily be able to find a job in Orange County closer to my parents.
The top movie of the year is beauty and the beast. Hopefully one day I’ll find my beast, since I’m obviously the beauty.
The top song of the year is to be determined, but I imagine it’ll be a Taylor Swift song or something. Good riddance.
