Today in the realm of teachers, we will be discussing the ELD specialist at our school. It really begs the question though, is she even technically* a teacher anymore? Short answer: no. Long answer: I guess.
Anyway, after the death of Nathaniel Hanna, it was imperative for the Tech team (me & Johnson) to find a replacement. With the amount of random subs, instructional assistants, and people coming in and out, I was hopeful for a female replacement that would one day become my wife. Upon discovery of her online cooking demonstrations, I said “um, no thanks.” But anyway, she came, and we ended up becoming nice little friends anyway.
Technology was cool, and we got to implement some lessons together. The real experience was of course dealing with the BS that was teaching technology without a curriculum together. We also watched Captain America: Civil War together, and took some kids to Phil’s BBQ as well. That’s certainly a treat.
Let’s not forget the random dinner with IA’s, especially everyone’s favorite sweetie (phil pham).
And baseball games, with or without her boo Brent.
And roller skating of course, let’s not forget about those experiences. We also went to the beach once for community sequel for her environmental club, which inevitably inspired me to one day create Builders Club.
And today was an unforgettable experience, going to watch Ingrid Goes West. I fell in love with the female lead, as she became obsessed with some girl she discovered over Instagram. #iamingrid #iamtran. Can’t wait for the sequel. Can’t wait to find my own Ingrid. She can be my catwoman anyday.
