Ms. Smith is by far one of the most hard-working teachers at our school. Who else can do what she do, slave away to a bunch of unappreciative middle school students? She definitely stays the latest, and is trying to perfect her craft each and every second of each and every year.
It is very obvious how much she cares about her job and her students by how much the little things can bother her. I don’t feel envious of the fact that she’s in one of the departments with the most pressure to perform well on stupid standardized tests.
Anyway, besides her love of math, book clubs have been nice, and all the countless memories we’ve made over the last year and a half will be forever embedded in my memory.
This includes of course:
- Phil’s BBQ
- Dodger Games
- Her stupid UCLA thesis thing
- Watching movies like Wonder Women, Power Rangers, Moana, Dr. Strange, & Others
Anyway, I hope she continues her teaching, and is much more appreciated in the upcoming seasons. Rise Kohyang just wouldn’t be the same without her bad jokes, and her ability to laugh at them.
