Day 20: Ms. Robinson

One of the best voices at Rise Kohyang Middle School, and one of the best voices last night for sure was not other than the talented Karlie Robinson.

It was angelic watching her perform, and being reminiscent on how far our journey has gone. In my first year at Rise, I was a terrible teacher, and she was my IA that helped me in one of my worst classes. While I couldn’t really control them, she was able to do so when she covered for me cause the kids actually respected her. Fast forward 2 years later and she’s teaching Theater now to a group of obnoxious 7th graders. Even though these kids might be annoying, she’s doing something theatrical that she ultimately enjoys.

Her hard work paid off in the political postering she was able to do as an IA – work hard, take over the technology classes, do ASAS after school, all without much complaining. I’m sure she will achieve all of her dreams if she puts that degree of effort into singing.

The best voice for sure at our school, and the best person to go to Soulquarius, fo’sho.
