Eugene Hahn was destined to become an ELA-teacher-turned-ELA-department-lead-turned-science teacher. Even so, there is no doubt within my mind that he would have succeeded in many of the alternative professions he would much rather do instead.
Though he is no Clippers fan by any means, we ended up going to watch one for the student auction, which is why he looks so awkward and out of place in Clippers attire.
Here are his top 5 alternative professions:
1. Gigolo: A gigolo is essentially a male escort. In a lot of ways, Eugene is already a gigolo to his students, but instead of providing them inappropriate services, he provides them the education they desperately need to succeed in the future.
2. Instagram influencer: All these people have to do is post random crap on their Instagram and get paid for it. Kendall Jenner herself gets paid $1,000,000 for every sponsored post. 3. Stay at home dad: This kind of speaks for itself. Quite possible if he marries rich, which is unlikely at this point.
3. Golf player: The easiest of sports to play, but still one where you can get pretty wealthy. Good luck. He already has good dance coordination, so I imagine playing golf can’t be any more difficult.
5. Makeup tutorial artist: Not sure how good he is at providing makeup services, but this proves itself another get-rich-scheme courtesy of Youtube.
Anyway, I’m glad we got to spend some time together at the Clippers game. His love for his students is amazing, his ability as meme lord makes me envious, and he will always have a special place in my heart.
At the end of the day, Eugene Hahn serves as a suitable replacement for Sam Choi, the teacher of the year, and will be the yin to my yang, appropriate for my lesson use today.
