I hope for his sake Colin Yamashita passes his Science CSET. His future depends upon it.
There are not many teachers like him who can so easily build relationships with students. Even though many would argue he is immature, I think he is truly a kid at heart, and I miss eating all the M&M’s and licorice in his room. Snacks of the day.
He also likes nasty chain restaurants, which are only “okay” in my book. I can eat at Olive Garden, Chili’s, and TGI Friday’s though, but they probably wouldn’t rank as highly as Phil’s BBQ in my book.
I hope I can be half as cool as him when I double my age, but probably not. I hope he knows he is pretty efficient at maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and I hope we stay friends for years to come.
