David Chau likes building things with his hands. In a way, he has never grown out of playing with legos, although he does have anxiety of losing pieces in a 3000 piece collection.
The real beauty is his hobby of creating gundams, even though he refuses to show me a fully assembled set out of embarrassment.
He plans to spend at least 300+ hours building gundams, which he has spent $700 on. That’s not a bad investment and equates to basically 2.50 an hour for entertainment. Better than my Phil’s BBQ investment, that’s for sure.
Anyway, I’m glad he is able to put his interests of building and creating things to good use, getting his Master’s in Aerospace engineering. May he build the best rocket for the United States to use for military purposes in space in the future.
