In college, Jonathan Chou’s hobby used to be building and improving his speakers to maximize audio quality. I won’t forget the times he blasted Owl City’s Fireflies at 6AM in the morning in high quality FLAC audio.
That being said, he thinks genetics helps to dictate whether you can really tell the difference in audio quality or not. I would have to agree with him. And so, his hobby has fallen out of fashion.
His hobbies these days include managing his startup companies. When work is a hobby, your life becomes intertwined and fulfilling in a way. I wish him the best of luck in the future, and hope he remembers me when he becomes rich.
