In no particular order, they are Hamilton, Rent, Dear Evan Hansen, and Wicked.
Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen are two musicals I HAVE to go see in the future, for very different reasons – Hamilton because I love history, and Dear Evan Hansen because of the entire premise (and the fact that I read the book a couple of months ago).
Rent introduced Jennifer to musical theatre, even though I would argue that the movie wasn’t that good. Jen got the opportunity to watch Rent Live at FOX Studios, even though one of the actors broke their leg in the process of the taping, resulting in a failed dress rehearsal.
I hope Jennifer gets the opportunity to continue to enjoy more musicals in the future both at Segerstrom and Pantages as she continues employment at the Aquarium of the Pacific.
