Christopher has played many games in his life, from gunbound in high school to other virtual games birthed out of the internet of the 1990’s.
That being said, he seems to continue his streak of winning every game, beating me and a couple of others at Settlers of Catan: Cities and Knights, and a Castles game. In addition to this, he appears to have a beautiful apartment in Buena Park (with a baby carriage outside of it), and is soon to be wed to his high school soul mate Eva Wong.
If those things aren’t the definition of winning the game of life, I don’t know what is. Even though we’re out of high school now, I imagine the core and essence of all of us remains largely the same, and I am grateful that he is still a significant portion of my life. Even though we still haven’t gone to Phil’s BBQ yet.
Good luck to him this year as he plans his future wedding and continues climbing, playing games, and growing from a small boy to a big adult.
