With the immaturities of high school well past us, it was nice to catch up with an old friend.
Careers intact? She’s a lawyer.
House? She’s bought one.
Sense of purpose? Being a public defender I’m glad she’s helping the world and contributing much to society.
Feeling like an adult? Not really. We both are of the realization that adults really don’t know much more than children, and we’re all kind of young at heart. Let’s hope we remain this way till we die.
When I started this project I was hoping to capitalize on my ability to reconnect with people whom I haven’t seen in years, and I’m glad I did. Tavie has blossomed into an amazing person, and I hope she continues to be the best possible version of herself, and that we remain in touch for years to come.
