Eric Gallardo was a vice captain this year for Anime Expo. Even though I didn’t work with him, the rumor mill is that he did an excellent job, being whipped and bossed around by his girlfriend.
And though I couldn’t visit the West Hall portals this year, I am grateful that Eric and I have continued to stay in touch. He is a pretty chill dude, and doesn’t seem to be fazed by many things. And even though he likes Korean BBQ more than Phil’s, I will forgive him at some point in my life. One day he forgot to wear his volunteer shirt so I shamed him until he went all the way home to put it back on.
Here’s hoping the rest of his military service goes well.
