Yesterday we went to Bushfire Kitchen for a pre-white elephant gift exchange dinner. It was a very unfortunate outing, with several friends not receiving their meals or getting their orders messed up, and my friend even getting a piece of staple in his food!!!! Absolutely disgusting! I guess if he really wanted that extra iron, this is a good place to receive it.

On a positive note, I’m glad I’m still friends with many of these people despite not working with them for the last 4 years. It just proves you can become good friends with your co-workers contrary to many popular belief. Maybe working in the trenches of Rise Kohyang Middle School brought us all closer together. Cheers to Winfred, who got the best gift in the gift exchange, a squishmellow luggage container.
