Martin Luther King Jr. once said “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?” In a society where people are seemingly more self-centered than ever before, it’s important to take a step back and make sure we create opportunities for ourselves to help others.

Though the amount of service I’ve done over the years has dwinkled, I hope to continue to be in service of others through actions and service projects in the future. These two pictures are from the MLK Day of Service from 2017 and 2018, where we helped renovate schools around Los Angeles.

I’m hoping after I retire in 30 years, I will have more time to participate in service projects all over the world in the spirit of MLK.
