Beach Memories

On the day of my 18th birthday, I had the pleasure of going to the beach with some friends living in Suite 408 of Stewart Hall. It was a memorable day, and I’ll always be blessed for these memories. Though the communication with these peeps has long faded way, I hope they are all in happy and better places.

And yet, I’ve always had an awkward relationship with the beach because… the first time I ever went there, I got lost looking for my friend’s birthday party. I walked 4 miles all around the pier, finally realizing after a couple hours I was on the wrong side. With no cell phone at the time I had to resort to using a stranger’s phone to be able to get picked up. Another time I went to the beach I was seduced into the water by my crush, which unfortunately led to me breaking my ipod at the time. Sad times.

I’m glad happy memories at the beach have overriden the negative memories of the past.
