I’ve been to the flower fields before in Carlsbad, but never on a date with Katherine. And her mom. And her friend. It was a pleasant experience as we got to breathe in and smell all of the flowers. With social distancing in place of course, due to the fact that the country was still slowly reopening.
Now everytime I see her I will think flowery thoughts. I only hope she feels the same way. Though the flowers die every year, our love never will.
