On our 1 year anniversary, Katherine and I had the pleasure of going to the Huntington Library / Botanical Garden. In August 2020, this was after months of social distancing due to the outbreak of coronavirus and months of long distance when she went to help her aunt in Palm Springs.
That being said, the wait was worth it. If our relationship could survive a global pandemic, it could survive anything! After enjoying the nature-y sites of the gardens, we also went for some much needed cardio through water biking in Long Beach. Followed by a delicious dinner at Parker’s Lighthouse.
Needless to say, the nature elements were reminiscient of third world countries like Vietnam, which we will somehow visit in the future.
